SIRR Volleyball: Maddox, Keith Earn All-Conference Honors
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A pair of Perry County athletes have earned spots on the River-to-River Conference's, All-Mississippi Division volleyball team.
Du Quoin freshman middle hitter Rebekah Maddox and junior outside hitter Maddie Keith are on the list of a dozen players, selected by division coaches.
"Rebekak is a tremendous player even as a freshman," Lady Indians coach Isaac Miller said.
Maddox was also named to the All-Tourney team at the Marion Invitational and led Du Quoin with 219 kills and 65 block-stuffs.
The 6-footer helped the Lady Indians to a 13-win campaign, its best season in the last three years.
Keith-who made the all-tournament team at Benton-and Maddox are joined on the All-SIRR list by the Nashville foursome of Melanie Rhine, Mackenzie Newman, Kourtney Heggemeier and Breanne Pelker. Sparta had three players picked-Rachel Peck, Erica Gallois and Emma Koester with Anna-Jonesboro represented by Leslie Donna and Rachel Hayden. Devon Hecht of Chester was also named.
