Parish Hall vandalized
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ For the third time in less than a month, someone has vandalized the doors at St. John Parish Hall in?Chester.
In the latest incident on Thursday, January 30 at approximately 7:00 p.m. Principal Chris Urquhart discovered that someone had shot out the glass on the parish hall doors.
According to Dave Bargman, to date the cost of the damages incurred amounts up to $7,000.
"Terry Knop and I boarded up the doors with plywood," stated Dave Bargman.
In the two other incidents, three doors were shattered over the course of two weeks.
The first incident was reported on?Sunday, Dec. 21st. It was reported that an individual had shot out two glass doors at the parish hall with either a BB?Gun or a Pellet Gun.
The second incident was reported on New Year's Day at 12:30 a.m. In that incident another door was shattered with the same type of gun.
At the time, St. John was offering a reward of $250 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for the damages. That reward has since been increased to $500.
"Anyone with information regarding this on-going investigation is encouraged to call the Chester Police Department at 826-5454," said Chester Police Chief Ryan Coffey.
