Junior High Update: #204 Harriers Solid
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Pinckneyville (#204) Cross Country team continued a strong season this week with a pair of strong showings.
Monday at Chester, the Lady Tigers finished first with a team score of 19.
Sophia Keith was first overall with Shania Opp third and Torrie Kuhnert running fourth.
Lindsey Taylor (10th) and Lydia Pestka (19th) also had solid finishes.
The junior varsity boys were second at Chester, scoring 24 points.
Kyle Kroeger (fourth), Caleb Logan (sixth) and Nathen Johnson (10th) all made the top ten as individuals.
TJ Borque (11th) was right behind with Kane Runyon 14th.
In the varsity race, #204's Brian Taylor was first overall.
Monday at Ashley's Invitational, the running Tigers brought home six more medallions.
Keith was first, Opp fourth, Torrie Carter fifth and Taylor 10th in the girls race.
Kreger (ninth) and Logan (11th) competed in the boys jayvee race with Taylor sixth overall in varsity.
The next action for #204 will be the SIJHSAA Class S State Oct. 17 at Rend Lake
