1. School District Web-site: We continue to receive additional requirements pertaining to district web-sites (budget, board minutes, salaries, contracts). Districts are exempt from these requirements if they do not have a website. Due to time/financial restraints, I recommend we discontinue our website until the district is able to financially handle the services of a full-time technician. Approved

2. Alumni Softball Tournament

Coulterville School is having their 30th Softball Alumni Tournament on Saturday, September 19 at the Coulterville Ball Diamonds. Past players will be reunited with their teammates in playing a round-robin, fast pitch tournament beginning at 10:00am. Thirty five alumni have responded making three teams. Immediately following will be an open home-run derby available for anyone (male or female). At 3:00, sign up for a co-ed slow pitch tournament. Anyone 18 or older may participate. All proceeds of the gate will go to the Jr. High Softball Program. Cost is $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for youths. A concession stand will be available along with a 50/50 drawing. We will also have a program recognizing our alumni. The school is asking the community and school staff to come join in a day of remembering our former players. Should you have any questions, please call Patti Berry at 317-6003 or Cortnie Ruppert at 317-2986.

3. Over the past two weeks, Robert and Randy have been using the concrete mold we purchased two years ago (Outdoor tables). One has been completed and more will arrive in the future. This will provide a place for students to eat their lunch and/or provide an outdoor classroom for the teachers. Location - concrete pad in front of the solar panels.

4. I have discontinued trash services with CWI. Their performance over the past year has been less than efficient. They charged us $83.00 monthly for pick-up (1 per week). Panther City has offered their service for $95 monthly for pick-up (twice per week). Should we not need pick-up twice per week, I will discuss the once-per-week option with them.

6. Tracy Wolf requested an evening to hold an open-house for her parents. This was completed on September 3, 2009. Her husband took attending students to my office for educational entertainment during the meeting. Comments received from the attending parents were overwhelmingly positive.
