20th Annual Fort Kaskaskia Traditional Music Festival
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Illinois Preservation Agency and Save Illinois History will hold their 20th Annual Ft. Kaskaskia Traditional Music Festival, Saturday and Sunday, September 26th and 27th from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. in Chester, IL.
Long-time festival host, George Portz, has groups from across the nation showcasing Bluegrass, Cajun, Country, Gospel, and Irish music. Country Clogging, Cajun, and Irish dancing will also be showcased both days. This year's featured artist is Wailin Wood, from Nashville, TN. Wailin is 3-time National Harmonica Champion.
The festival is located 6 miles north of Chester, IL on Route 3. A craft show is held both days and camping is permitted. Food and beverage will be available and admission is free.
