Pinckneyville FFA Founder Remembered

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[For 34 years Louis Templeton was not only the Agricultural teacher at Pinckneyville High School but he was so much more. He was the Pinckneyville FFA Chapter Advisor. Louis cared about each and everyone that he taught and helped.

He traveled everywhere to make sure that his students had the best opportunities through the FFA. He put in long hours making sure that the Pinckneyville members attended every career development event that they wanted and that they were well prepared for each competition.

To help honor Mr. Templeton the Pinckneyville FFA would like to start a scholarship in his name. The fundraiser to start the scholarship will be Sept. 19, 2009 at the Perry County Fairground's Grandstands.

The night will be composed of a BBQ dinner, silent auction, and live auction. For ticket information please see any Pinckneyville FFA member or call the Agriculture Office at 618-357-5013 ext. 119.

Tickets prior to the event will be $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets day of event will be $12 for adults and $6 for children. Please come and support the Louis Templeton Scholarship Foundation.
