Home in Dowell Burns

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dowell and Elkville firemen were called to this residence at 302 Vogel Street just before 8 p.m. Sunday night to extinguish a fire that completely destroyed the Brent Atkins residence. It appears that the fire began in the front or middle of the one-story wood-framed house. No one was injured and the house is insured. The fire can could be seen all the way to Vergennes, according to firemen there who responded. John H. Croessman Photo.
