Auditions for Sparta Community Chorus' Seussical the Musical this weekend

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Sparta Community Chorus is holding open auditions for their fall production Seussical the Musical, under the direction of Erica Goodwin. Auditions will be held this Saturday, August 8 at the Sparta Community Playhouse, formerly Showtime 6 Cinema. Auditions will begin at 2 p.m., but you will need to call 618-806-6757 to schedule an audition time.

Seussical is a musical based on the stories of Dr. Seuss and requires both adults and children for the cast. Children will need to be between 2nd and 6th grade, and adults will be considered 7th grade and up. There are several roles to audition for, but we also have many fun chorus numbers that will require a large group of people.

Audition packets explaining all of the requirements for each role can be picked up at the Sparta Community Playhouse, within the Showtime movie theater in Sparta. Performance dates are scheduled for the weekends of October 9-11 and 16-18.
