Dozens of Auction Items at Tom Waller Benefit

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Friends of the Tommy and Cathy Waller family are hosting a benefit spaghetti dinner Saturday, July 18 from 4 p.m. to midnight at the American Legion Center in Du Quoin.

Mr. Waller is a patient undergoing chemotherapy for cancer and proceeds will help defray the family's medical and transportation costs.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 10 and under.

The evening will include a silent auction from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a live auction from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Live auction items include a St. Louis Cardinal Package Sunday, Sept. 13 that includes two game tickets, lodging at Drury Hotels and a $50 Casey's gas card; handcrafted wine table/rack; Doc Z's gym one year membership; Chicago Cubs package Sunday August 16 including two game tickets, round trip Amtrak tickets, lodging at Best Western, etc.; autographed Rams football, gas grill, handcrafted white window planter box and plants; leaf blower, waste basket cabinet; Crescent tool set; gold bracelet; Molly Brown raft; Dooney and Burke leather handbag; Brett Farve autographed N.Y. Jets helmet, 32 piece stainless set; three Chicago White Sox tickets; Stan Musial autographed post card.

There are also approximately 80 silent auction items--everything from gift bags to Holiday World tickets, afghans, gift cards, newspaper subscription, wreaths, gift boxes, U.S. Marshall polo shirt, Budweiser gift baskets, Cardinals coin set, etc.
