Friends Host July 18 Benefit for Tommy Waller

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Friends of the Tommy and Cathy Waller family are hosting a benefit spaghetti dinner Saturday, July 18 from 4 p.m. to midnight at the American Legion Center in Du Quoin.

Mr. Waller is a patient undergoing chemotherapy for cancer and proceeds will help defray the family's medical and transportation costs.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 10 and under.

The evening will include a silent auction from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a live auction from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. There are more than 50 silent auction items and 15 live auction items that include St. Louis Cardinal and Chicago Cubs packages with lodging. There will be a dance from 8 p.m. until midnight.

The American Legion Cen-ter is located at 900 South Jefferson Street behind the Dairy Queen just off Rt. 51 south.
