The team is made up of eight members, ranging in age from 9 to 15 years. They are: Mallorie Snider, Taelor Furry, Bekah Harris, Jacob Underwood, Rachael Miller, Joshua Underwood, Addie Pierce and Andrea Miller.
The team has been riding together for about two years, but have just recently begun performing at local events. They help raise money and awareness for those who would like to ride, but cannot due to a disability. Their winning performance in Texas was 'Riding for a Cause.'
They will perform the same routine Saturday, Sept. 4 at Outback Stables in Pinckneyville. The drill team will also host a Fun Show to help raise money for St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. The show will begin at 1 p.m.
The drill team will also perform Oct. 3 at a horse fair in Red Bud.
