Free Root Beer Float Success at Sonic

The Du Quoin Sonic's "free root beer float night" ended at midnight Wednesday with a total of 902 free root beer floats being served to customers between 8 p.m. and midnight. Car hops carried tray after tray of the free root beer floats to customers to launch Sonic's summer season. Pictured is car hop Stephanie Overton delivering one of her trays to customers whose cars at times completely filled the Sonic lot.
