Illinettes Dance Team Addition

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ali Cannedy selected to the University of Illinois "Illinettes Dance Team"--Pinckneyville Community High School senior, Ali Cannedy, daughter of Stephen and Tricia Cannedy, has been selected to be a member of the 2009-2010 "Illinettes Dance Team" and the "Marching Illini". They are the official dance team of the University of Illinois. After a two weekend tryout period the squad was announced on Sunday, May 3rd. The 28-member squad performs with the "Marching Illini" at all home football and basketball games in Champaign and at two away football games this coming season: In St. Louis on Saturday, September 5th for a game with the University of Missouri and on September 26th in Columbus, Ohio against Ohio State. They will also accompany the football team if they are selected for a bowl game at the end of the football season.
