Coin Toss May Decide Ashley Mayor
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Both Leo Levesque and Len Piasecki received 104 votes each in the race for Mayor of Ashley.
Washington County Clerk Tom Ganz will check with the State Board of Elections today to determine how to break the tie.
Perry County Clerk Kevin Kern said that the tie will most likely be decided by a game of chance. The candidates can draw straws, cut a deck of cards or flip a coin to decide who wins.
The third candidate for Mayor, James Claypool, received eight votes. Outgoing Mayor Linda Gammon did not run for re-election.
