BREAKING NEWS: DMS Repeats State Volleyball Championship !

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Du Quoin Middle School won its second straight Class L State Volleyball title Saturday night, defeating Waterloo 25-20 and 25-15 at Herrin High School.

The Lady Warriors ended the season 31-5-1 and started the day with a 25-11 and 25-21 win over Mount Carmel. They then beat Carlyle 25-19, 17-25 and 15-12 in the semifinals.

Shortly after 8 o'clock Saturday, the Lady Warriors' squad was welcomed back to Du Quoin with a police and fire escort. The parade wound through town before ending at DMS.
