Pinckneyville Dance Team at State

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Pinckneyville Community High School "Marching Panther Pompon Girls" won 2nd place in Class A Kick, 3rd Place in Class A Pom and 4th Place in Class A Lyrical at the State I.D.T.A. competition this past Saturday. The twenty member squad earned the highest placement in school history with their 2nd Place Kick routine. The event was held in the Assembly Hall at the University of Illinois where over 110 competition routines were performed beginning at 9:00 am. The winning squads were recognized beginning at 6:00 pm. I.D.T.A. host two super-sectionals and groups must qualify their routines to compete at the state level. The squad is coached by Rhonda Hicks and Stephen Cannedy. Tawmi Conley, Saluki Shaker Coach, is the groups choreographer.
