Church opens food pantry and free clothing store

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ The Reformed Presbyterian Church of Cutler will be opening their new food pantry and free clothing store Saturday, March 7.

"We have been palnning this for six months," stated Pastor Brent Easton. "The fact that it is starting up this Saturday is pretty timely. Our goal is to not only help people out with food and clothing but more importantly give them the bread of life - which is Jesus Christ.

The pantry is called the Bread of Life Ministries referring to John 6:35 - "I am the bread of life, he who comes to me will never go hungry and he who believes in me will never go thirsty."

Anyone who is in need can come and get assistance.

"We believe this is an important ministry because the need is so great," stated Pastor Easton.

The pantry is located in the basement of the church which is located at 321 South Ervin Street in Cutler.

Hours of operation are the first and third Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Pastor Easton stated individuals will be assisted every thirty minutes during those times.

Donations of non-parishable items and clothing are currently being accepted.

"You may have outgrown or have multiples of clothing. We are accepting all sizes," stated Pastor Easton, there is a high demand for children's clothing.

"Other items that are in currently in high demand are blankets, coats, gloves, shoes, shirts and jeans," said Pastor Easton.
