Minding Your Manners

The students learned how to show respect for themselves and others in a variety of situations including cooperative play, telephone manners and table manners.
As a culminating event, students were delighted to show their skills at a brunch held in the cafeteria. Here, they used all the table manners they had learned and practiced over the past weeks. Each child was in charge of their own place setting and set it appropriately.
The brunch consisted of a party atmosphere and a variety of old and new foods were introduced. They enjoyed oatmeal with blueberries and chocolate chips, chocolate chip pancakes, yogurt, turkey bacon, bagels, English muffins, fruit, omelets, juice, and hot tea.
