Junior High Roundup: Lady Warriors Split Against Elverado

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Du Quoin (Middle School) split girls fifth and sixth grade basketball games at Elverado (Junior High School) Tuesday night.

In the preliminary contest, the DMS fifth grade crew hiked its record to 2-1 with a 24-6 win.

Andrea Morgan scored eight points with Nikki Ridgeway adding six.

DMS also had four point games from Jaylyn Williams and Sydney Valier. Sydney Lewis added a basket.

Elverado won a nip-and-tuck sixth grade game, 15-13.

Jacqueline Harsy scored five points with Carissa Graham and Marisa Ferguson each netting four.

Du Quoin's record is 4-4.
