2009 Randolph County Relay for Life Kick Off January 22nd
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[RANDOLPH COUNTY - The Randolph County Relay for Life Kick Off is a happening on January 22nd from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sparta, IL. Learn How to form a team! Enjoy a free Chili Plus Supper! Also, teams can register their members and also be eligible for door prizes, get original fundraising ideas, and get an event calendar and additional contact information. Also, Spirit cards will be distributed.
Those who are interested in attending the Randolph County Relay for Life Kick Off, call in an RSVP to Roxanne Conley at 618-998-9898, option 3. That will give the organizing committee an idea on how much food to prepare and door prizes to give out.
Don't forget, the Randolph County Relay for Life Committee and Teams are gearing up for the Relay to be held May 29th and 30th from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM at a NEW venue: the Sparta Airport facility. At the new venue, there will be a pavilion set up for concessions, a stage will host entertainment and announcements, camp sites will be located in the surrounding grassy area. --March 8th - Afternoon Cancer Survivor Dinner at First United Methodist Church, Sparta, IL
--April 6th - planning meeting for the committee @ 6 PM and team captains 6:45 PM at the Sparta Community Hospital Auxiliary Building
--May 4th - planning meeting for the committee @ 6 PM and team captains 6:45 PM at the Sparta Community Hospital Auxiliary Building
--May 29th - 30th - Relay for Life Event from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM @ Sparta Airport.
Bank Night will take place at First National Bank of Sparta, Broadway and Market. The date for that will be released later.

The Randolph County Relay For Life on May 29-30 promises to be another marvelous memory in the making that consoles us for who we have lost, but even more so-supports those who are fighting and surviving their brawl against cancer!
