GOLF: Pavloff signs with Missouri Baptist
Kolton Pavloff will begin his collegiate golf career in the fall of 2015 at Missouri Baptist University. Pavloff, a senior at Christian Fellowship [Du Quoin], signed with the Spartans last week.
"I am very blessed to have the opportunity to play golf at the next level," Pavloff said. "I'm excited to be part of a very solid golf program at MBU. Coach Hoagland has worked alongside many of the top teachers in the game, including the Hank Haney Golf Instruction Program. He understands the golf swing and I'm looking forward to working with him. I believe he will help me reach my full potential," Pavloff said.
Pavloff considered other offers but felt Missouri Baptist was the best fit. "When I considered all the factors, MBU was a clear choice. A great golf program, the broadcast media program, and nice campus facilities, plus being relatively close to home were all included in my decision."
Pavloff plans to major in Communications with a concentration in sports broadcasting.
Missouri Baptist University is a Christ-centered university located in West Saint Louis County near Creve Coeur, Missouri. MBU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and competes in the American Midwest Conference.
