GOLF: Lady Panthers 3rd at Invite

PINCKNEYVILLE, IL - Pinckneyville's girls placed third amongst the ten teams at Friday's Lady Panther Invitational at Red Hawk Golf Club, shooting 179 as a team to trail first-place Nashville by nine strokes.

Hornettes junior Shawn Rennegarbe also added to her growing list of medalist honors, shooting a nine-hole total of 36, five strokes better than a tie for second place that included Pinckneyville's Heather McDaniel (41).

All four of PCHS's qualifying scores were in the 40's with Sarah Carlson (44), Olivia Mathis (45) and Alexis Anderson (49) completing the Lady Panthers' scorecard. Ellie Carlson (51) and Britney Thomas (53) also took part for Pinckneyville.

The Lady Panthers (15-5) are back on the course Tuesday hosting Waltonville and Steeleville at Red Hawk.
