Mary Cathern McClusky Walker, formerly of Harrisburg

It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Cathern McClusky Walker, age 95, on May 24, 2026, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Urbana.

She was born on Jan. 12, 1931 in Harrisburg to Berry and Edna Bush. She married Robert McClusky in 1946, and together they built a life in and around the Avon and Roseville area filled with the joy of raising their four children, Duane, David, Cathy and Caryn. After Robert’s passing in 1989, Mary later found love again with lifelong Harrisburg acquaintance Robert “Bobby Jack” Walker, whom she married in 1994. Their years together were filled with a shared love of the Ohio River that brought them much happiness until Bob’s passing in 2010.

Mary is survived by sons Duane (Cheryl) McClusky of Monticello, David (Mindy) McClusky of Monticello and daughter Cathy McClusky of Peoria; grandchildren Brooke (Lee) Starks, Bree (Eric) Ocasio, Bridget (Sean) Calhoun, Jessie (Joe) Streit, Meagan (Mike) Delapaz, Morgan (Chris) Morris and Joe Boyd; stepsons Darrell Walker, Gary (Debra) Walker and Lindall (Ann) Walker; stepgrandchildren Brent (Natasha) Walker, Jaylynn (Alex) Shank, Brian (Leslie) Walker, Wade (Hilary) Walker and Bradley Walker; as well as several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Berry Bush Jr. and Edward Bush, sisters Vivian Threet and Ruth Stone, and daughter Caryn (Troy) Hall.

A celebration of her life and internment will be announced at a future date.
