Cassidy Rice, co-kings Travis Chapman and Haeden Sweetin at Sweetheart Dance
Cassidy Rice was named queen of the 2013 Du Quoin High School FCCLA Sweetheart Dance coronation held Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin. For the first time ever, the student body voted co-kings for the night. They were Travis Chapman and Haeden Sweetin. The coronation was held in the beautiful sanctuary and was followed by the dance at the American Legion Center.
The night's court included retiring queen and king Brittany Ward and Josh Sanders. Queen candidates were Bri Green, Cassidy Rice, Alicia Stanhouse and Colby Williams. King candidates were Shayne Baxter, Travis Chapman, Brenden Fred and Haeden Sweetin. Senior princess and prince were Megan Eckert and Jacob Dusch. Junior princess and prince were Jayde Farmer and Spencer Cook. Sophomore princess and prince were Emily Stanhouse and Carter Leake. Freshman princess and escort were Maysa Campbell and Nolan Showalter. Senior attendant and escort were Carlie Lane and Camden Youngman. Junior attendants were Alexis Galli and Kody Hess. Sophomore attendants were Abby Doerr and AJ Smith. Freshman attendant and escort were Alaina Caldwell and Camden Mercier.
Candle bearers were Alexa Landis, Alexis Kohrs, Amanda Atteberry, Mikayla Williams, Katrina Whitley Jessica Martin, Laynee Porter and Rebekah Woodside. Crown and sceptor bearers were Madison Harris and Cannon Gossett.
Mistress of ceremonies was Kirsten Kremer.
