Donation Buys New iPads in Dist. 204
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[An anonymous donation of $15,000 has made possible the purchase of 20 iPads and a mobile charging cart for 204 School.
Superintendent Brent Kreid said the district is very grateful. The new tablet computers are available for use by students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade and will help 204 graduates prepare for life at PCHS, where students work on MacBooks.
The board expressed their appreciation at Tuesday evening's meeting.
In other business, the board:
-- heard from architect Paul Lunsford that the pre-bid meeting on Feb. 15 went well. Bids for the health/life/safety and energy efficiency renovation projects are due March 15. The work will be completed over the summer.
-- re-hired Collin Hirsch as Head Girls Basketball Coach and Heather Hagood as Assistant Girls Basketball Coach and Dennis Ginn as Head Boys Basketball Coach and Josh Plumlee as Boys Assistant Basketball Coach for the coming school year.
