The Summer Reading Program will begin on June 30 and continue every Thursday morning throughout July, 11:00-noon. The theme for this year's program is "A Midsummer Knights Read," featuring books, games, and activities related to knights, castles, and medieval times. The Summer Reading Program is free of charge and open to all children in grades K-4. We ask that parents pre-register their children to assure that we have ordered enough supplies. Just call the library at 965-9732.
We continue to add new books to our shelves. This month we added many books for teen readers. We hope to see more of our teens over the summer.
The Library welcomes volunteers to help with various projects and activities. If you would like to volunteer, please stop by the library and let us know how you'd like to participate.
In May, the Book Club and History and Genealogy Club held their monthly meetings. Also if a club is planning to meet at the Library, please call ahead to make sure space is available:965-9732.
