Matthew Thomas Klaybor

Matthew Thomas Klaybor, 19, of Du Bois, passed away at 9:05 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. from injuries in a motor vehicle accident south of Nashville.

Matt was a second-year student at Kaskaskia Junior College taking his general studies. He was a graduate of the Nashville Community High School. Matt had a big heart and always loved to have fun. He was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois.

He was born March 23, 1994 at Mt. Vernon, Ill. the son of Kenneth Mark and Mary Lynn (Kostecki) Klaybor.

He is survived by his parents of Du Bois, brother- Mark Klaybor of Du Bois, sister- Melissa Klaybor of Du Bois, maternal grandmother- Evelyn Kostecki of Du Bois, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather- Thomas Kostecki, paternal grandparents- Theodore Klaybor and Theresa Klaybor Kuberski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois and from 8:30 a.m. until time of service at the church on Wednesday.

The Rosary will be prayed at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery at Du Bois.

Friends may make memorials to the St. Charles Catholic Church Renovation Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
