Peter Roger Rybacki

Peter Roger Rybacki, 82, of Pinckneyville, passed away 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014 at his residence.

Peter had been a farmer and construction worker. He was a member of the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill. He was also a member of Laborers Local 459.

He was born Feb. 29, 1932 at Tamaroa, Ill., the son of Ignatz and Julia (Kuberski) Rybacki.

He married Pearl Elizabeth Day on April 30, 1955 at Du Quoin, Ill. and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Pinckneyville, three children - Roger Allen Rybacki of Du Quoin, Deborah Kay Moore of Tamaroa and Dennis Lee Rybacki of Pinckneyville, two sisters - Frances Pokorney of Nashville and Christina Reidelberger of Tamaroa, 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons - Leo Wayne Rybacki and Dale Edward Rybacki and two brothers - Johnny Rybacki and Vincent Rybacki.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014 at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill with Fr. Bernard C. Goedde Jr. officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery at Todds Mill, Ill.

Friends may make memorials to Masses or the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
