Patricia A. Koenig

Patricia A. Koenig, 55, of Du Quoin, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014 at her residence.

Patricia had been a CNA and caregiver. She was of the Catholic faith.

She was born Oct. 20, 1959 at Laredo, Tex., the daughter of Carolina G. Soto.

She is survived by one daughter - Michelle Stanley of Du Quoin, two granddaughters - Victoria Stanley and Haylie Stanley, two sisters - Sandra Garcia of Laredo, Tex. and Grace Soto of Chicago and one brother - Jerry Soto of Dallas, Tex.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Fr. Joseph Oganda officiating.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the family to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
