HERRIN - The John A Logan College Theatre Department will present "Herrin Made: Voices of the Herrin Maytag Factory Workers" for one night onlyat 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the Herrin Civic Center.

"Herrin Made" is a docu-drama-style live theater performance constructed of real interviews by former employees of the Herrin Maytag factory.
The play is a local piece of working-class history that celebrates the voices of the Herrin Maytag factory workers who were also John A Logan College students after the closing of the factory.
"Herrin Made" tells the Maytag factory story from the perspective of the people who lived it.
The play was written by local authors Lynn Damme and David Cochran.
The play will appeal both to local audiences and those interested in the broader labor issues.
"Herrin Made" is part of John A Logan College's focus on local authors in their fall production schedule. Damme and Cochran will be attending the event.
