Dorothy Jean Kirk

Dorothy Jean "Dot" Kirk, 87, of Linden, Tenn., passed away at 4:08 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at the Coulterville Care Center in Coulterville.

Dorothy had been Office Manage for McDonald Funeral Home for several years.

She was born Aug. 15, 1926 at Hohenwald, Tenn., the daughter of John Levi and Lena Adele (Downey) Baker.

She married Harry "Sonny" Kirk and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter- Karen Fozard and husband Dr. Gregg of Pinckneyville, two sons- Mike Kirk of Belleville, Ill. and Tony Kirk of Henderson, Tenn., six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Linden, Tenn. with Hoyt Kirk officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the McDonald Funeral Home in Linden, Tenn.

Burial will be in the Downey Cemetery at Hohenwald, Tenn.
