DHS Homecoming is this week
DU QUOIN - Du Quoin High School celebrates Homecoming Week this week in the community. Each day is a special dress day for high school students.
The parade is set for 3 p.m. on Thursday. This year, the parade will start at the high school and proceed east on South Sreet, onward to North Line Street, and then west on East Park Street before moving to North Division Street, wrapping up at the southwest corner of Keyes Park.
There will be a pep rally at 2:50 p.m. Friday at the school followed by the game with the Pinckeyville Panthers at 7 p.m. at Van Metre Field.
The Homecoming dance will run from 7-10 p.m. Saturday at the high school. Tickets are $5 each. This year's Homecoming theme is "Its Game Time at DHS."
