Obituary for Ralph F. Lohman

<p dir="ltr"><span>Ralph F. Lohman,</span><span> 76, of Steeleville, passed away at 4 a.m., Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.</span><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/2M8UJFnvxDfVoGWz7ikajf5eIIc6BH9cTTfXj4WezEamR4SYF2WsHpDv-mUcGFdKkYu-iCuR2q1qww9hYXC8X4fNj0T3LGfJXv9CzIDaQOnRXSo8Pi0gfGdt0SAglgekRYb80M_NcJJbrHNZbw" alt="" width="1" height="1" />

<p dir="ltr"><span>Ralph was born in Steeleville, Illinois, on October 13, 1940, the son of Louis H. and Lorena Meyerhoff Lohman.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>He married Lora M. Hicks on November 24, 1962 at Bremen, Illinois. She preceded him in death on February 10, 2002.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>He was a retired small engine mechanic. Ralph was a member of St. John&rsquo;s Lutheran Church, Bremen and Eagles Aerie No. 3960, Steeleville.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Ralph is survived by one son, Douglas Lohman of Chester; one daughter, Cathy Burris of Chester; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; six brothers, Vernon Lohman of California, Kenneth Lohman of Red Bud, Harold Lohman of Stillwater, Okla., Donald Lohman of Steeleville, Larry Lohman of Steeleville and Jerry Lohman of Steeleville; four sisters, Jeanetta Rubach of Steeleville, Norma Jean Miller of Fairview Heights, Ruth Koch of Steeleville and Betty Gregory of St. Charles, Mo.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Ralph was also preceded in death by his parents; one son; one daughter; one sister; and one great-grandchild.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Funeral service will be at 10 am, Friday, February 10, 2017 at Wilson&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Rev. Edwin A. Reuter officiating.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Sparta. Visitation will be at Wilson&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.</span>
