Franklin County sheriff's blotter
The following incidents were obtained from Franklin County Sheriff David L. Bartoni. Note that arrests, charges and citations are allegations only, not findings of guilt.
October 21
• Deputies ticketed Douglas L. Carpenter, 69, of Christopher was ticketed for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
• Deputies arrested Jonathan R. McPherson, 31, of West Frankfort ona. warrant for failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine.
October 25
• Deputies arrested William L. Pierce, 80, of Bonnie on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the Franklin County Jail, where he later posted bond.
• Deputies arrested Justin S. Forsythe, 32, of Whittington on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He is being held in the Franklin County Jail.
• Deputies arrested Steven H. Wiley, 36, of St. Louis, Mo., on a warrant for aggravated domestic battery.
• Deputies arrested Halie A. Fowler, 25, of Thompsonville on a warrant for failure to appear for traffic.
October 26
• Deputies arrested Blake Meracle, 24, of West Frankfort on a charge of domestic battery. He is being held in the Franklin County Jail.
• Deputies arrested Sara N. Jeffers, 30, of Mulkeytown on a warrant for failure to appear for bad checks.
October 27
• Deputies arrested Martin K. Kristoff, 52, of Thompsonville on a charge of domestic battery. He is being held in the Franklin County Jail.</group><group id="B2BB2D53-D668-4
