Beryl V. Lynch
Beryl V. Lynch, 87, of Tamaroa, passed away at 7:55 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 at the Coulterville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Coulterville, Ill.
Beryl was a homemaker. She was a dedicated member of Grace Baptist Church, where she served as song leader for many years. She also had a passion for children. She was a nurturing mother and grandmother at home and one of her greatest joys was found in teaching youngsters in the church's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School programs. She was a member of Eastern Star.
She was born Feb. 1, 1928 at Tamaroa, Ill., the daughter of Fred and Anna (Bauer) Corgan.
She married Robert G. 'Mick' Lynch on July 8, 1949 at Tamaroa, Ill. and he preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 2010. She is survived by five children - Michael G. Lynch and wife Gena of Tamaroa, Sandra S. Phillips and husband Jim of Pinckneyville, Orval W. Lynch and wife Jane of Tamaroa, Timothy G. Lynch and wife Darla of Dowell and Amy J. Nehrkorn and husband Jay of Tamaroa, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter - Debra K. Kania, three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Rob Mathis officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to Antioch Cemetery Association or Special Olympics and will be accepted at the funeral home.
