Jessie E. Cook Jr.

Jessie E. Cook Jr., 50, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:53 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at his residence.

Jessie had been a carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was born Feb. 18, 1962 at Du Quoin, Ill., the son of Jessie E. and Betty Joe (Peterlin) Cook Sr.

He is survived by two daughters - Kimberly Sue Cook of Rock Springs, Wyo. and Morgan Joe Cook of Du Quoin, his mother - Betty Cook of Du Quoin, two step daughters - Heather of Rock Springs, Wyo. and Michelle of Christopher, two sisters - Jessica Jean Dare of Coello and Mary S. Daugherty of Du Quoin and one brother - Thomas A. Yearian of Christopher.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
