Mara Lee Woodcock of Du Quoin

<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Mara Lee Woodcock, 59, of Du Quoin passed away at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017, at her residence.<br /> Lee had been a teacher. She was a member of Tamaroa Pentecostal Church. She had devoted her life to God and her church. Lee loved her family.<br /> She was born Dec. 16, 1957, in Pinckneyville, the daughter of Jackie Lee and Naomi M. (Ferguson) Davison.<br /> She married George Woodcock June 23, 1984, in Pinckneyville, and he survives.<br /> She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin; two sons, David Woodcock and Nicholas Woodcock, both of Du Quoin; and siblings Jackie Joe Davison and wife Donna of Du Quoin, Michael Eugene Davison and wife Patricia of Tamaroa, Sharon Knapp and husband Bill of Du Quoin, Tom Davison and wife Debbie of Percy, and John Eric Davison and wife Anastasia of Tamaroa.<br /> She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Clara Jane Davison; two special aunts, Clara Weisel and Nettie Weisel; and grandparents Tom and Emily Davison and Leila Ferguson.<br /> Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with the Rev. Kirk Steele officiating.<br /> Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.<br /> Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.<br /> Friends may make memorials to the Tamaroa Pentecostal Church.
