Inus M. Sanders

Inus M. Sanders, 98, of Vergennes, passed away at 10:25 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 at the Fairview Nursing Center in Du Quoin, Ill.

Inus was born in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas on July 24, 1915, the daughter of Golden and Lillian Terry Millsap. She married John Alfred Sanders in December of 1933 in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas. He preceded her in death in June of 1995. Inus was a homemaker.

Inus is survived by her daughter, Eva Evans of Vergennes, Ill.; two grandchildren, Alan (Patti) Evans of Vergennes and Joella (Rich) Gossett of Du Quoin, Ill.; three great grandchildren, Jordan Evans, Katie Williams and Colby Williams and one brother, Onus Millsap of Jonesboro, Ark.

Inus was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother and five sisters.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston, Mo. Burial will follow there. Memorials may be made to the Elkville Christian Church.
