Percy Pavloff
Percy Pavloff, 80, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:12 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at the Parkway Manor in Marion.
Percy had been the senior pastor at the Christian Fellowship Church in Du Quoin since 1983. He was the pastor and member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Du Quoin. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was born Sept. 20, 1933 at Zeigler, Ill., the son of Theodore and Daisy (Odle) Pavloff.
Percy married Lola Fay Furlow on April 12, 1957 at Christopher, Ill. and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, daughter- Jane Rendon and husband Oscar of Du Quoin, son- Greg Pavloff and wife Angela of Du Quoin, grandchildren- Michael Rendon and wife Destinee of Du Quoin, Gabriel Rendon of St. Petersburg, Fla., Arika Pavloff of Du Quoin and Kolton Pavloff of Du Quoin, great grandchild- Adrian Rendon of Du Quoin and two sisters- Margaurine Sheffer and Mary Lee Pavloff, both of Zeigler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother- Theodore Pavloff.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at the Christian Fellowship Church in Du Quoin with Pastor Lon McPherson officiating.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the church.
Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Fellowship School and will be accepted at the school or the funeral home.
Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Du Quoin V.F.W. and American Legion and U.S. Navy.
