COVID-19 patients crowding antibody infusion clinics
Southern Illinois Healthcare is infusing around 90 COVID-19 patients a week with antibodies, officials said Wednesday, as many people in the region who have refused vaccination are willing to take antibody infusions once they get sick.

Family Video closing remainder of its stores
The movie rental chain Family Video will close the remainder of its stores, including the ones in Marion, Harrisburg, Carbondale and Cape Girardeau, president and owner Keith Hoogland announced in a letter to employees and customers.

Carbondale Chamber seeking nominees for annual awards
The Carbondale Chamber of Commerce again will recognize excellence with a series of annual awards during its 102nd-annual banquet Feb. 15, 2019. Nominations for these awards are accepted from Chamber members and the community. Nominations are due by noon Wednesday Dec. 17.
