Vietnam vets invited to 'Welcome Home' celebration in Benton

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2671 and American Legion Post #280, both of Benton, will host their annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans celebration from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 27 at the American Legion Post home, 311 S. Main St. in Benton.

A short program with an appropriate message will be presented, while DJ karaoke musician Rockin' Roy will play songs from the Vietnam era. Sub sandwiches and delicious desserts will be available, and the bar will offer drink specials.

Come to this event and feel truly welcomed home! Vietnam veterans are free to wear their uniforms. Commemorative items will be available at the event.

All veterans and the public are invited to attend.
