Banterra Bank and Salvation Army partner to address child hunger

MARION - The Salvation Army of Southern Illinois is working to decrease the issue of food insecurity for school-aged children during the summer.

Banterra branches throughout the region have partnered with the Salvation Army for the month of April as "Breakfast Buddies" and are conducting food drives in all branches.

The Salvation Army will be distributing food to local pantries in Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri, Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Please consider a nonperishable breakfast food donation to the Banterra branch in your area, or contact the Salvation Army of Southern Illinois to see other ways to help fight hunger this summer.
