Rotary Club of Carbondale celebrates 100 years in Carbondale

Since its founding in May 1920, the Rotary Club of Carbondale has been a vital part of the Carbondale community, supporting youth in pursuing their educational dreams, as well as local social service and health organizations.

To acknowledge the centennial milestone, the Rotary Club of Carbondale held a virtual celebration starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 1. As part of the celebration, there was an online auction of a painting by Cree Sahidah Glanz that was commissioned by the club.

The event is free and open to the public, but people must register for it. The link to the registration page is carbondalepubliclibrary.org/register. For additional information, email the club at Rotary ClubofCarbondale
