Four scholarships for CHS grad Shinabargar

Katie Shinabargar, a 2021 CHS graduate, was recently presented with several scholarships: the Bud Cohen American Legion Scholarship; the Chester VFW Scholarship; the Schaffner Masonic Foundation Scholarship; and the Gary Schwent Scholarship.

Shinabargar will attend Southeastern Illinois College this fall, where she will play softball for the SIC Falcons and study to become an elementary education teacher in order to tech kindergarten.

She is the daughter of Paul and Amanda Shinabargar of Chester.
