Beta Sigma Phi coat collection benefits local children, students

For the 15th consecutive year, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Chester has participated in the Coats For Kids project, donating new winter coats to the Chester school district and to the Chester Head Start program.

This year the two local BSP chapters, Alpha Upsilon Master and Beta Nu, along with assistance from the Knight Hawk Coal Company, donated 20 coats to Unit District 139 and another 10 coats to Head Start.

Beta Sigma Phi is an international service, cultural and social Sorority, focusing largely on service. The Sorority has deep roots in Chester, tracing back many, many decades.
