Paul Robert Pyle of Harrisburg
Paul Robert Pyle of Harrisburg was called home at 7:37 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021 at his residence. Paul was born April 11, 1948 in Harrisburg to Pete and Marjorie (Walker) Pyle. He married the love of his life, Dee Ann Tillman, on Nov. 18, 1983. He ran several businesses in the area over the years, but running his father's business, Pete's Furniture in Carrier Mills, was his favorite. Paul enjoyed playing cards and was an excellent pool player. He adored his family and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren. Paul Robert never met a stranger and always loved spending time with his friends. Paul was a member of First Baptist Church and greatly enjoyed helping out with His Table.

PCHS boys basketball Panthers demolish Sparta, 61-18
A slow start for both teams -- the game was scoreless at the mask timeout at 4:00 -- only delayed the Panthers' eventual dominance on their home floor Friday night. Once Ben Restoff scored the first bucket at 3:50, on his way to 13 points for the game, Pinckneyville played with precision to a 61-18 win over Sparta.
