William Thomas 'Tom' Killman of Lake of Egypt

William Thomas "Tom" Killman, 79, of Lake of Egypt, died at 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020 at his residence.

Graveside services will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills. There will be no visitation; all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Seth Graves and Ryan Hall will officiate.

Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is assisting the family with the details.

Tom was born on July 2, 1941 in Stonefort. He was raised by the late T.F and Helen (Deaton) Graves.

He married the former Melba Mauney on July 12, 1960 and she survives.

Tom was a Harrisburg High School graduate. He later worked and retired as a coal miner from Sahara Coal Co.

Tom was a member of the Ledford Baptist Church in Ledford and was the former president of the Fourth Edition Association at the Lake of Egypt.

Tom is survived by his wife, Melba Killman of Lake of Egypt; two children, Marcia (Mark) McKinney of Marion and Roy (Lana Taborn) of Stonefort; two sisters, Bonnie (Bud) Hall of Bloomington and Beverly Slusher of Ledford; two brothers, Jerry (Sheila) Killman of Ledford and Gary (Kim) Graves of Carrier Mills; five grandchildren, Richard Thomas (Amanda) Hilliard, Cory (Mallory) Hilliard, Caleb (Ashley) Hilliard, Jeremy McKinney and Branden McKinney; and seven great-grandchildren, Mason Hilliard, Peyton Hilliard, Lexi Hilliard, Lane Hilliard, Rylan Hilliard, Willow McKinney and Cade McKinney.
