Mary Marie Futch Fritts of Harrisburg

Mary Marie Futch Fritts, 90, of Harrisburg died at 8:15 a.m. Monday, Feb 22, 2021 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. Dr. Steve Williams will officiate and burial will be in North America Cemetery.

She was born on Oct. 30, 1930 in Sturgis, Kentucky to the late Tom and Mary (Gogue) Lindle.

She married Gordon Lee Futch on May 8, 1948 and he preceded in death on Aug. 29, 1983. She later married R.C. Fritts and he also preceded in death.

She retired from Harrisburg Manufacturing where she had worked for many years and became a caregiver which she loved very much. She also loved to crotchet and gifted many people with her works of love.

She was a member of the North America Baptist Church and attended the Simpson Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Jerry Futch of Harrisburg Bob (Jan) Futch of Vienna and Jim (Kathy) Futch of Herrin; a brother, Leroy Lindle of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Nicki (Shane) Gentry, Darin (Rachel) Futch, Brian (Rachelle) Futch, Scott (Chelle) Futch, Jennifer Smith, Jason (Jenny) Futch and Tracy Futch; and several great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, Roger Dale Futch; sister, Lavada Rice; and brother, Virgil Lindle.
