Toni Marie Woodsides of Pinckneyville

Toni Marie Woodsides, 67, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 7:50 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021 at her residence.

Toni had been a homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith.

She was born Nov. 20, 1953 at Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John and Beverly (Wagner) Fitzsimmons.

She married Donald Woodsides on Feb. 22, 1974 at Du Quoin, Illinois and he preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 2007.

Toni is survived by five children, Joseph Lively of Du Quoin, Russell Lively of Du Quoin, Joseph C. (Lisa) Woodsides of Du Quoin, Glen Woodsides of Joliet and Gail (Bill) McManus of Du Quoin; three sisters, Jolene Soto of Pinckneyville, Mary Barnes of Chicago and Wendy Arnold of Chicago; seven grandchildren, Kevin Woodsides of Pinckneyville, Dominica (Josh) Hill of Oklahoma, Seth Betts of Du Quoin, Shelby (Jake) Todd of Du Quoin, Bailey Woodsides of West Frankfort, Jacob Woodsides of West Frankfort, and Sydney Fleming of Benton; and three great-grandchildren, Liam Hill, Addis Todd and Nevaeh Todd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Sherry Chmura; her aunt, Gail Horn; and her friend, Glen Horn.

Per Toni's request, cremation rites will be accorded.

Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin, with the Rev. Joe Wagner officiating. Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Friends are invited to make memorials to the family, which will be accepted at the funeral home. Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin is in charge of arrangements.
