Bobby R. Vaughn of Chester

Bobby R. Vaughn, 77, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021 at Memorial Hospital, in Chester.

He was born on June 16, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bobby was a member of Grace Church Ministries in Chester. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going on rides to look for deer. Bobby was also a talented mechanic and could fix almost anything.

He is survived by his two children, Joyce Vaughn of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois and Jess (Kellie) Vaughn of Chester; and three step-grandchildren, Hayleigh Cowan, Gavin Cowan and Trinity Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents; girlfriend Linda Surman; and one brother, Arnold Vaughn.

It was Bobby's wish to be cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Bobby's memory to the family, and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
